Abstract Submission

Abstract submission opens on January 1, 2026 and closes on  March 1, 2026.

Expected notification of acceptance decision: April 3, 2026

 

All abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the EMSA 2026 website.

Abstract Guidelines:

  • Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
  • Submissions via email or postal mail will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts must be written in English only.

When submitting, please indicate the corresponding/presenting author. This person will receive all notifications related to the submission.

 

Important Information:

Each author may submit and appear as a co-author on several submissions, but may present only one abstract and submit one paper per registration fee.

Registration Requirement:
 
Presenting authors whose abstracts are accepted must register for the conference. Failure to register will result in removal from the conference program.

Presentation Preference:
 
Authors should indicate their preference for ORAL or POSTER presentation during submission. The final decision on presentation type will be made by the Program Committee.

 

Presentation Guidelines

Oral contributions: 

  • Invited presentations: 30 minutes (including discussion)
  • Regular oral presentations: 15 minutes (including discussion)
  • Presentations will be delivered using a laptop provided in the room. You may also bring your own laptop.
  • Speakers must upload and check their presentations before their session.
  • Please note: Time slots for oral contributions are limited. If your request for an oral presentation cannot be accommodated, your contribution will automatically be assigned as a poster presentation.

Poster contributions: 

  • Posters will be showcased during the entire day, with dedicated sessions for discussion
  • Posters must be prepared in A0 Portrait format.
